Business Research and Economic Development

The Economics and Business Research and Development Agency (EBReDA) is a department within the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM). It was formally founded on July 1st, 2010. The Center for Good Corporate Governance (CGCG), the Institute of Islamic Economics and Business (LEBI), Language Training Center (PB), Business and Economics Data Center (PDBE), Economics Research and Development (PPE), Management Research and Development (PPM), Accounting Research and Development (PPA), and Language Training Center (PB) combined to form EBReDA FEB UGM. EBReDA FEB UGM is devoted to planning top-notch education and research to advance understanding in the fields of business and economics, as well as planning community service-related events. All components of EBReDA FEB UGM must function professionally in order to fulfill the obligation. They must also be able to react quickly to a variety of demands and issues relating to the public and private sectors, the community, knowledge development, and business and economics. In addition to helping FEB UGM as a faculty of research, EBReDA FEB UGM, as an institute within FEB UGM, also helps UGM become a top research university in the globe.

P2EB creates and arranges workshops and seminars as part of its endeavor to improve the caliber of human resources for both commercial and governmental entities. The training curriculum at P2EB is constantly updated to reflect developments in social science, particularly as it relates to the national and global economies, as well as changes in business rivalry mapping, technology, and economic shifts. The program employs experiential learning, which is carried out through a dynamic, self-directed, and creative teaching and learning process. Additionally, the training can be created to be specifically tailored to the needs of the client.

P2EB has been employing academics from both inside and outside UGM as well as internal P2EB professionals to perform a variety of economics and business studies on a continual basis. P2EB conducts research to formulate a range of business and economic issues for both public and commercial enterprises.
